About APCS
The Asia Pacific Coroners Society (APCS) was established to promote the advancement, best practice, and education of coronial law and practice. Membership is open to all coroners and to anyone involved in, or associated with, the coronial jurisdiction, such as pathologists, forensic scientists, police investigators, lawyers, and grief counsellors.
The Society serves as a professional community dedicated to advancing the practice of coronial investigation across the Asia Pacific region. It fosters collaboration, education, and the exchange of knowledge among coroners, forensic experts, and related professionals. Through a shared commitment to integrity, independence, and continual learning, the Society strives to support best practices in death investigation and contribute to justice and public health outcomes.
The APCS holds annual conferences that bring together coroners and associated professionals from across the Asia Pacific region. These conferences provide opportunities for members to learn from each other, discuss common issues, and explore developments in coronial law and practice.
The Society’s membership includes professionals from Australia, New Zealand, and various nations in the Asia Pacific region
